Today is Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival(中秋节 Zhongqiu Jie in Chinese Pinyin). It is also called Mooncake Festival because people usually eat mooncake and watch the Moon on this day. Mid-Autumn Festival is the second most important festival after the Spring Festival(Chinese New Year Day).
Tonight I am going to my grandparents' place to have a family dinner. And last night we CS group in Guilin had a dumplings + mooncake party on a roof. I was the organizer of the party. I was supposed to let people make dumplings by themselves and then have it. But last night there were more than 25 people, which totally broke my original plan. How lucky that we bought freezing dumplings and the only that we need to do is to boil them. Last night I was like a waitress and run from kitchen to the roof from time to time to serve people food. SUCKS! What's worse, I just ate a couple of dumplings at the beginning and then I forgot to eat. We finished at around 3AM this minoring.
